Sporting Pride, Dublin Lesbian Line, the Phoenix Tigers, Dublin City Sports & Wellbeing Partnership and Studio Ten Photography are delighted to announce we’ll be hosting an LGBTQ+ women’s sport’s day in January 2023! Women and non-binary folk of all ability levels, from beginner to seasoned athlete, are invited to join us for what promises to be a day of fun and socialising with your peers in theLGBTQ+ community.
Where: Trinity College Sports Centre, 43 Pearse Street, Dublin 2, D02 W085
When: Saturday January 28th 11.30am to 4.00pm
Volunteers will be present on the day to support and guide you as needed so please don’t hesitate to reach out to someone.
Overview of The Day’s Structure
All of the sports below are taster sessions - you do not need any previous experience in the sports to take part.
11.30 - 11.50am - Registration
12.00 - 2.30pm- A mix of Basketball, Wall Climbing & old school sports day games
2.30 - 3.30pm - Food will be served on site for participants.
Coaches, kindly provided by the Dublin City Sports & Wellbeing Partnership and Trinity College, will lead participants through all of the activities.
Participants will be divided into 3 groups on the day and will rotate between the 3 activities before everyone regroups for the Sports Day activities and food. We ask that everyone who registers participate in all 3 sports.
Showers are available afterwards for anyone who wishes to use them.
Everyone is welcome to join the organisers in Street 66 afterwards for some socialising!
Registration Costs
The cost to register is €7 + the Eventbrite registration fee of €1.33. This includes participation in all sports, snacks during activities, food afterwards, and a technical tshirt.
If you are not in a position to pay the fee please contact Sporting Pride or Dublin Lesbian Line and we can register you free of charge.
After Thursday, January 5th 2023 we will not be able to make any changes to orders. However, participants will still be able to register for the sports activities. As the orders will be made on January 5th people who register after this date will not be guaranteed their first choice tshirt size or food option.
Please note - if you do not show up on the day we cannot give your t-shirt and goody bag to someone else to give to you - t-shirts and bags are for participants only.

Photographer On Site
Debbie from Studio Ten photography will be on site throughout the day. If you do not want to be included in photographs please approach the photographer to make your wishes known beforehand.
T-Shirts
The registration fee also includes a technical t-shirt for each participant. You are asked to select your preferred size when registering. You will not be able to change the t-shirt size on the day as all of the t-shirts are pre ordered.
